Email Security

Effective date: 20 April 2026  •  Website: www.atlasdt.com

AtlasDT takes email authenticity, payment security and impersonation risks seriously. This Email Security page explains how AtlasDT communicates electronically, how to verify whether an email is genuinely from AtlasDT, and how suspicious communications should be reported.

1. Official communication channels

  1. AtlasDT ordinarily communicates from addresses ending in @atlasdt.com or another domain expressly notified to you in writing by an authorised AtlasDT representative.
  2. AtlasDT may use approved third-party platforms for invoicing, support, e-signature, logistics or collaboration. If AtlasDT uses such a platform, the communication should identify the platform and context clearly.
  3. Customers should not rely on messaging-app or email instructions that purport to change bank details, delivery details, or beneficiary information unless independently verified using a trusted contact method already on file.

2. AtlasDT security commitments

  • AtlasDT seeks to protect email communications through commercially reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards.
  • AtlasDT may use email authentication and anti-spoofing measures such as SPF, DKIM, DMARC, secure mail gateways, link scanning, malware screening, restricted access controls, and incident monitoring, where implemented in AtlasDT's environment from time to time.
  • AtlasDT personnel are expected to follow internal controls for invoice changes, customer communications, supplier onboarding, and handling of confidential information.

3. AtlasDT will not normally ask you to

  • send passwords in plain text by email;
  • share one-time codes or authentication tokens unless you initiated a verified support process that specifically requires them;
  • accept a sudden bank-account change based only on email instructions;
  • open unexpected macro-enabled files, executable files, or compressed archives without prior business context; or
  • make urgent payment decisions without a verifiable contract, purchase order, invoice and known business contact.

4. Your responsibilities

  1. You must maintain reasonable safeguards over your own email environment, credentials, devices and internal approval workflows.
  2. You must verify any request involving payments, refunds, bank-account amendments, commercially sensitive attachments, shipment redirects, or user-access changes through an independent communication channel.
  3. You must notify AtlasDT promptly if you believe your AtlasDT account, supplier account, or procurement workflow has been compromised.

5. Reporting suspicious emails

  1. If you receive an unexpected or suspicious email claiming to be from AtlasDT, do not click any links, open attachments, reply, or forward it outside your security team except as necessary for investigation.
  2. Please report suspicious messages to info@atlasdt.com.
  3. Where possible, include the original email as an attachment in .eml or .msg format, together with the sender address, received date/time, and a short description of why the message appears suspicious.

6. Payment diversion and business email compromise

  1. AtlasDT may require dual verification for changes to banking details or other payment instructions.
  2. AtlasDT is not responsible for losses caused by a customer's reliance on forged, compromised or unauthorised communications that were not reasonably verified by the customer through an independent channel, except to the extent such loss is caused by AtlasDT's own fraud, wilful misconduct, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
  3. Any change to AtlasDT remittance details should be confirmed by live voice verification or another agreed out-of-band control.

7. Incident handling

  1. Where AtlasDT confirms a material security incident affecting its systems or customer data, AtlasDT will investigate, contain and remediate the incident in accordance with its internal response procedures.
  2. If the incident involves personal data processed on behalf of a customer, AtlasDT's obligations in respect of that data are governed additionally by the Data Protection page and the parties' contract.

8. No security guarantee

No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. AtlasDT does not warrant that email communications will always be free from delay, interception, corruption, malware or unauthorised access, but AtlasDT undertakes to use commercially reasonable measures appropriate to the nature of the risk.

9. Contact details

Security reports and verification requests should be sent to info@atlasdt.com. General legal queries may be sent to info@atlasdt.com.
